Cairo is going to travel through time. No city is so magical, chaotic and vibrant, in addition to the mystery of the pyramids, as is the daily life of the Egyptian people, because this city has more than 15 million people (almost anything) and learn its gastronomy. Very little time for so many things to see and do. We can start with the obligatory visit to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the necropolis of Giza, where we have an incredible view of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure. Not to mention the visit to the Egyptian Museum where you need a day (at least) to see the entire collection of objects from Pharaonic times. But it is not available, you can not leave without seeing the room dedicated to Tut where you will find his golden mask and all the great treasure that was found in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings. It is also curious to visit a room with eleven Pharaonic mummies which displays among others those of Ramses III and IV, but to enter it you have to pay extra few Egyptian pounds, as it is not included in the price of entry museum. Alabaster Mosque in Cairo is now time to see the Alabaster Mosque situated within the Citadel where we are captivated by the sights of the city.
And of course, the bazaar of Khan El Khalili, where you’ll miss their streets to look for and find the best prices: handkerchiefs, pipes, spices, jewelry … you do not resist! Even if yours is not always buy you can sit in the famous coffee or coffee Fishawi mirrors and enjoy a good time.
If you have time you can free dive in their churches and Coptic Quarter or take a trip to see the Step Pyramid of Saqqara … or simply enjoy your stay in Cairo.
A pity to go home with the suitcase full and the feeling that this will be an unforgettable trip!
