Temple of Nefertari at Abu SimbelEsta wonder Nubian pharaohs has two temples located at the waters of Lake Nasser. The grandest, the Temple of Ramses II is just as spectacular both inside and out. The other temple is smaller and more dedicated to his beloved wife, Nefertary, and the goddess Hathor, and who bears the name, as one would expect, Nefertary Temple.

As curiosity Nubians say that these monuments were moved to its present site piece by piece by UNESCO, since the construction of the Aswan High Dam was a risk that remain buried beneath the waters of Lake Nasser and could not afford ! ;)
